4- four oz pork chops per husband

use a boneless center cut pork chop

alternate -a bone in pork chop is a more flavorful cut but allow two more ounces per serving to compensate for the bone

-----------------------DRY SPICE RUB----------------------------

1 ts Garlic powder
2 ts Black pepper 1/2 ts Cayenne pepper
1 tb Paprika 1/2 ts Thyme
1/2 ts Oregano 1/2 ts Rosemary
1/2 ts Salt Combine dry spice rub ingredients and coat both sides of meat with barbecue seasoning. Let stand at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Grill over medium coals (or low flame if using gas) for about 10 minutes per side depending on thickness.
Sprinkle on additional barbecue seasoning after turning meat
Pull from flame

corn on the cob and apple sauce makes good and easy side dishes.
