DRY MEAT RUB, Dave's meat rub is a simple way to maximize meat flavor without a lot of work. A meat rub should bring out flavor not cover it up. Try dry meat rub sparingly until you get a feel for amount.

Dave's Meat Rub

There is nothing better than having something to rub your meat with:

½ cup Lawry’s garlic salt (course ground with parsley)

¼ cup ground black pepper

¼ cup ground paprika

¼ cup ground onion powder

¼ cup Italian seasoning

1/8 cup ground cayenne or red pepper

Mix together well and store in an air tight container.

For a Southwestern flavor (Fajita’s ?) add 1/8 cup ground Cumin.

Rub this liberally and long into your hard meat and let rest until the grill is ready, or sprinkle lightly on fish or poultry and let rest until it gently flavors.

Grill enjoy and then tell everybody that this your secret recipe.
